What to do in Moscow with kids
Of course you can also take the whole family to explore Moscow. It’s actually a great idea. The people in Russia are very kids friendly. They’ll allow you to skip lines and help you in any way they can. Plus, there are many kids facilities in restaurants and public places in Moscow.
The Experimentanium ( «Экспериментаниум») is one of the best activities in Moscow with kids. This fun Museum of Science is located in the west of Moscow near metro Sokol. It’s an interactive museum, which teaches about science through games and activities in a very fun way. Great for kids from age 2 and up.
Traveling to Moscow: how to get around
First of all, Moscow is one of cleanest city’s we visited and it’s very safe. That said, as in any big city, try to avoid random taxi’s but download a taxi app, like “Gett taxi” or “Yandex taxi”. Even better, take the metro. Moscow’s metro system is one of the most reliable and safe metro systems in the world. Of course, the golden period is summer, when the city is warm and bustling. Winters in Moscow are brutally cold, but this is when you’ll get a true glimpse into the Moscow experience. A bit of frost bite during your stroll on the Red Square is a very Moscowian experience!
