Where to go for a great massage
Villa Aestethica is one hell of a pamper treat in District 2. A beautiful spa with eye for detail and high-quality beauty treatments. The prices are a bit higher than average too, but if you can afford it, make a mental note of this one, you won’t regret it.
In the heart of Thao Dien in District 2 is an excellent spa with ditto treatments. Spa Lá Sen is clean, decently priced, uses beautiful oils and is known for their amazing hot stone massage as well as a great Thai massage.
A real hidden gem in Saigon, is l’Apothiquaire in District 3. When you enter the lane covered with trees, it’s almost a mirage, so unexpected and lovely. We have 1 word for this spa: GO!
Where to get your beauty fix
Generally everyone is picky about finding a good hair salon in Saigon and we so get that. Chances are that after visiting Ace London in District 1 once, you will go back again and again. The reason: the superb quality and finesse of hairdressers (and owners) Michael and Chiyono Barnes.
Finding a nail salon is not so difficult in Saigon. Finding a clean and hygienic one can be a bit more of a challenge. The Nail Bar is District 2 has a solution: a personalized box with nail equipment, just for your use. The quality of the treatments is good too- you’re all set!
A true Saigon experience is a visit to Quynh Salon in District 2. A Vietnamese beauty parlor which is always absolutely packed. Our best experience is the horizontal hair wash massage topped by getting your hair styled by one of the super fast yet super thorough hairdressers.
Places to refuel body and mind
If you are looking for a place in Saigon to recharge your inner battery, look no further. Mandala Wellness knows its business when it comes to meditation, mindfulness, energy healing and more.
Suzanne Vian is the captain of Jiva Studio and she really knows her yoga. She and the other yoga teachers set a mighty fine atmosphere to practice some of the best yoga. Beginners are more than welcome too.
Another good way to refuel is to start with Pilates at PilateSaigon. You can train for more core strength here or flex those muscles with the Merrithew STOTT method.
