65 Thao Dien St., D2
Close to Kashew Cheese, we’ve bumped into one of the best tailors in District 2. This is your go to place if you want to copy that cute little dress in blue or if you have seen an image of a shirt you’ve always been craving. The tailors at Zakka are not the cheapest but they can make almost all your desired outfits and they do it well. Moreover, they have some fabrics and ready-made wear there as well.
81 Xuan Thuy, D2
Located on Xuan Thuy, in the heart of District 2, there is a walk in closet for everyone. A lovely shop with an owner who understands that when you live in a tropical climate, you want to wear comfortable, yet elegant clothes made of soft materials. You will find all of that here, and some more.
72 Le Thanh Ton, D1
A big mall in D1 where you can (finally) find a decent selection of international brands such as Zara, H&M, Mango, Gap, Karen Millen, Tommy Hilfiger, Massimo Dutti and Charles & Keith. Vincom Center is located in the heart of District 1 and after you’ve walked outside sightseeing for a few hours, the air-conditioning in here is so very welcome.

We feel like we are in Singapore! The Crescent Mall is a beautiful place to shop, and home to many famous international brands such as Nike, Accessorize, Banana Republic and Gap (Kids). You’ll also find interior shops, bed & bath stores, bookshops and quite a few stores with decent mommy-to-be and baby products. We recommend taking a nice walk in the park next to Crescent Mall to catch some green infusion and then shop it off here.

Looking for a bargain? Then head straight to Saigon Square. It is jammed with clothes, jewelry and accessories. However this is a place where you sometimes get what you pay for… and most of it is ‘genuinely fake’. Still, you can’t go wrong with buying a Zara shirt or Havaianas for $2. It’s air-conditioned and always a hit with visitors.
92-94 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, D1
Set up only a few years ago, this mall looks like it was picked up from Bangkok or Singapore and placed in the middle of Saigon. Takashimaya is shiny and glamorous and has all the features of a good Asian mall – high end fashion brands, sports apparel and of course, lots of delicious Japanese food.

Need to update your activewear? Or buy a snazzy tennis outfit? Saigon Centre has a huge selection of good quality sports clothing. Adidas, Nike, Asics and more, you get the drift. And even better, Saigon Centre is a big, modern mall with a lot more to offer than just sports clothing.
